Vietnam has more than 40,000 monuments and landscapes, of which over 3,000 are classified as national monuments, and 5,000 are designated at the provincial level. The Red River Delta exhibits the highest density and number of relics, accounting for a rate of up to 70%. Furthermore, across the nation, Vietnam boasts 117 museums where the heroic history of the nation is meticulously preserved.

Vietnam is one of the few countries globally recognized by UNESCO for its numerous heritage sites. As of now, our country has 8 heritages acknowledged by UNESCO, including the Thang Long Imperial Citadel relic, Hoi An ancient town, Trang An landscape complex, Hue ancient capital, Ho Dynasty citadel, My Son holy land, Phong Nha - Ke Bang national park, and Ha Long Bay.
