Ta Xua is a highland commune (Bac Yen district) where it borders two districts of Tram Tau (Yen Bai) and Bac Yen (Son La). More than 200km from the center of Hanoi, if you start from Hanoi, you go in the direction of route 32 to Nhon to Son Tay Town, pass Trung Ha Bridge and then go to Thanh Son. At Thu Cuc intersection, you go to Phu Yen and then you will come to Bac Yen. From Bac Yen to Ta Xua is about 15km away.
With an altitude of 2,865m, Ta Xua is ranked 10th in the list of the highest mountains in Vietnam. With this advantage, the weather in Ta Xua is quite cool about the summer. You should go in the period from November to March, this is the most successful time to hunt Ta Xua cloud.
Ta Xua has many beautiful clouds hunting routes and the dinosaur spine is one of them.
