North West

The Northwest is the western mountainous region of North Vietnam, sharing the border with Laos and China. This region is sometimes called the North West of Vietnam and is one of the three natural geographical sub-regions of the North of Vietnam (the other two are the Northeast Region and the Red River Delta).

There are more than 20 ethnic groups living here such as Muong, H'Mong, Dao, Tay, Kinh, Nung, etc.
